武汉船舶职业技术学院创立于1950年，是一所中央与地方共建、由湖北省直属管理的全日制普通高等学校。学院拥有一批素质高、结构合理的双师型教师队伍。办学70余年，学校为国家工业化建设培养输出了大批高素质技能型人才。
Wuhan Institute of Shipbuilding Technology (WIST), founded in 1950, is a public higher education institute. In WIST the faculty is composed of many competent and professional teachers with at least two qualification certificates. For over 70 years since its establishment, WIST has trained a large number of skilled talents of high quality.
学校现有15000余名全日制在校生，开设有包括计算机网络与软件工程、船舶与海洋工程、机械与数控技术、动力工程、电子电气工程、交通工程、艺术设计、建筑工程、财经商贸等13个专业门类，50个高职专业。
WIST, with current enrollment of more than 15,000 full-time students, offers certificates and diplomas in 50 specialties among 13 categories, including computer network and software engineering, marine engineering, shipping and navigation technology, mechanism engineering and NC technology, power engineering, electronics and electricity engineering, transportation engineering, art and design, construction engineering, finance and trade, etc.
学校现有19个校内综合训练基地，106个现代化实 训室，教学设施先进齐全，为提高学生专业技能创造了 良好的环境。
19 in-campus comprehensive training bases together with 106 modern training rooms, equi pped with advanced and complete teaching facilities, provide the students with a good environment to improve their professional skills.
学校与美国、加拿大、德国、英国、澳大利亚、新西兰、泰国、孟加拉国、越南等国家的教育机构开展长期友好合作与交流。

有汉语水平等级证书HSK4者优先
Priority will be given to the applicants with certificate of HSK4
申请截止时间：春季学期入学申请截止每年1月1日；秋季学期入学申请截止每年7月30日
Apply before January 1st for spring semester registration each year; July 30th for autumn semester registration each year.

Arecent front passport-size photo without hat on (white or blue background certificate photo at jpg version)
经济担保证明（入境后有由中国银行出具的不少于5000元人民币的存款证明）
Financial Guarantee Letter (certificate of deposit more than CNY5000Yuanprovided by Chinese bank after entering China)
无犯罪证明（由当地警察、安全、法院等部门出具）
Certificate of No Criminal Record provided by local police station, security agency, or court
